Building works are underway

Today my son and his mate are here.  They are out in 32C temperatures working on our second verandah!  It's hot work, but they just keep on keeping on.  The posts are going in as I type this, and already I can imagine how nice it will be to sit out there for breakfast and a cuppa when it's finished.  There's been a lot of photo opportunities this morning, which will be great for stock photos.  The concrete slab being cut, concrete slurry being mixed etc.  I wonder if anyone would buy a concrete slurry mouse pad!

I was excited to see that the customer who purchased two of my phoenix firebird mugs a few weeks ago came back and purchased another two today!  It's such an encouragement to think that they like the quality when they received their first order that they decided to purchase another two.  Here's the mug they purchased...

Well, I'd best get my skates on and organise some morning tea for the boys, and for Jim too ofcourse!

Keep smiling!!

Bluewren's Treasures

Once upon a time, in a far far away land, in a far far corner of Australia, lived Jan and Jim. They were a lovely couple, but they had too much time on their hands, so they decided to see what they could do to fill their days. And this is where the story starts....

Jan (that's me!) loved photography, graphic arts and being creative.

Jim (that's him over there!) loves tinkering on his computer and discovering lots of interesting things out there on the net.

We combined the two, and came up with lots of fun ways to fill our time and fatten our piggy bank at the same time. This is how Bluewren's Treasures was born... but more about that later.

Stay tuned, and watch this space, as we share our interests with the world through our blog.
